Why silver ?

Free silver particles are known to be active anti microbial and antiviral agents and also kill fungi (fungus mold/mildew). SilverPure developed a nanocrystalline silver particle skin emollient of suspended Ag sub-microscopic particles (1~100nm) small enough to come in contact with and kill pathogens within seconds. Nanocrystalline silver particles come into contact with bacteria or viruses and suppress their respiration process. This, in turn, adversely affects their cellular metabolism and inhibits cell growth. As opposed to antibiotics, the pathogens will not get a resistance to the silver nanoparticles. Is silver safe? Is the silver safe for my children?

Silver has been used for centuries to prevent and treat diseases & infections. The NASA space shuttle's water system uses tanks that are coated with silver to stop bacterial, viral and fungi growth. In a groundbreaking study last year at the University of Texas and the University of New Mexico, researchers killed the HIV virus and feel that silver will kill virtually any virus! Toxicology test results indicated no harmful effects in an oral test with mice. It is equally safe for children, pregnant women and the elderly.

Below are tests from IRIS which is a part of the government and EPA. They tested silver particles against other precious metal particles and concluded that silver was non carcinogenic and safe for use on the skin. The silver particles were injected under the skin.
